Italy is one of the best Mediterranean countries in Europe. It has a very interesting history and a great culture. There you can find a lot of Renaissance art, like paints, literature, sculpts and architecture . Moreover is an interesting place to visit because you can do many activities like take a romantic travel in a gondola in Venice. Italy is located in southern Europe, and it has an incredible figure of a boot-shaped peninsula.


Italy was one of the most important countries of the Roman Empire that lasted for nearly five centuries. The roman empire began 27 years before Christ when Augustus became emperor of Rome after many years of civil war. This empire declines when the Germanic invasors attacked and destroyed the empire in the 4th and 5th centuries. After that became the Middle Ages and then the Renaissance.


Italy is a peninsula that has about 1,100 km along and the toe of the boot adds another 200 km . The countries near to Italy are Switzerland and Austria on the north, Slovenia and the Adriatic Sea on the east, the Ionian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea on the south and France on the northwest. So if you want to visit more countries in Europe you can go to the near places to Italy and may be it will be cheaper.


Most of Italian people (56,995,744 of people ) are native-born people. You can divide the country in two parts, one is the urban part in the north and the second is the rural part in the south. In comparison with Colombian people is more cold there, they are more seriously people and they don’t have many physical contact, but there are very educated and respectful people about the social rules and take care of the environment.


In conclusion is important to say that Italy is one of the most important countries for the tourism around the world, and it contains a very important legacy of history and culture that affects directly or indirectly the history and the culture around the world including countries from Latino America like Colombia. The location is a good aspect because it has a good weather. In deed The people in these country have good aspects like the culture and the respect for the social rules, and also negative aspects like the cold way to be.
